I am a contemporary mixed media artist who brings the abstract to life with imagination and moving color. My vibrant pieces achieve depth through careful layering and manipulation of various mediums including ink, acrylic, watercolor, and resin. As a self-taught artist, my process is unconventional and historically experimental in the use of palette knives and brushes mixed with a little gravity and chemistry. Curiosity of the unknown final aesthetic is a driver in the unique presentation of each piece. My creative process constantly evolves and transitions as I attempt new techniques and experiment with alternative mediums and substrates. Simply stated, I keep layering color until it just feels right. The elements of nature such as water and clouds provide the inspiration for the interesting shapes, texture, and free flowing colors that can be found within each abstract piece. Experiencing art through creation provides a calm that I have grown to love. My hope is that this peace transcends to those it encounters.

A. Abstract, floral, landscapes

A. It is something that I enjoy because it has no rules.

A. So many! I follow so many incredible artists on Instagram and they all inspire me!
Q. What are your dreams for your art career?
A. I would love to be an artist working with interior designers and home owners to create special pieces for their homes.
